Lego reuses good ideas. The Maersk set sleeper cab is also 5 wide. Also,
I believe one of my favorite tow trucks has a 5 wide equipment bed:

I recall getting a bunch of these when S@H was blowing them out in early
1998. Aspiring builders of 5 wide beds would do well to study the
instructions for this one, it builds up pretty solid, unlike some of MY
designs.
Why this is subcatagorized RACE is beyond me, Lego does weird stuff
sometimes. Either that or Joshua does. :-) (it has the auto triangle on
the instructions, not the race triangle)
