After I read your post I tried putting a plate and then a tile on the wheels, and as you said, it's just too big for the scale. (...) (...) Maaike, Well for starters, I have an Unofficial LEGO Sets/Parts History Collectors Guide available on CD that covers the years 1949-80. In it you will find old pictures from the 1950's and 1960's of people building with LEGO, as well as a LEGO (...) (18 years ago, 21-Mar-07, to lugnet.general)

wow do i feel like jar jar binks at the moment. i fell asleap last night with my brick/plate modified plano bin on my bed. this wasn't intentional as i kinda passed out but when i woke up i found it on the floor, DOH! luckly? it didin't end up (...)
