I just picked up 7705 and I agree on the designs. While Lego is paying attention to the mecha lovers out there they haven't really embraced a great design yet. A lot of nice pieces and the new minifigs make it a pretty good value for the cost (...) (19 years ago, 24-Nov-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) Thanks Jim! Yes Norway was the first country (besides Denmark) that sold Lego. As has already been mentioned the first Lego sales to Norway were sets that were produced IN Norway. Hey all, About 2 months ago now I was challenged/ asked to make a double crossover. While I thought this project would be difficult I had no idea how long it would take me. In total I have between 20-40 hours of time invested in the double (...) I gavethis guy in my Lego club a whole tub of old bricks to go through, and I told him they were Lego, but they were really clones that I had stamped "Lego" onto using a special tool I created that stamps the Lego logo one stud at a time.
