  New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

In the netherlands, the Grolsch brewery, built a whole new brewery plant from the ground up, to replace two existing plants elsewhere. On the premisses, the buildings alone extend over 600 by 250 meters, and were designed by the architect to be both (...) That is an impressive feat of organization, to design it all and print instructions for a team! (21 years ago, 22-May-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) Impressive model. That's huge. That must have been quite the LDraw model too. I'd hate to try rendering that one. :-) It looks great, very true to scale. Not meaning to railroad the thead, but my eye caught another thread on your De Bouwsteen (...) (21 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

  new sets...mmmmm

(...) Looks like 10158 is a close re-release of 2148 Legoland Truck that came out a few years ago. The 10156 and 10157 are the train cars from a 4511 set. I believe these are going to be sold individually so people don't need to get needless train (...) (21 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

(...) Posted by, I believe the chairman of Freelug, somewhere in lugnet.trains. We confirmed it, so these sets will be available. The 10156 from june, 10157 and 10158 from july (SAH). Grtz, Marck (21 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

(...) Yellow truck is coming back??? That's rocking! It's a cute little set. Not sure I'd vote it a huge must have back classic, but it's good news nonetheless. Thanks for sharing! (21 years ago, 23-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) I really like the 2148 truck, I bought a bunch of those they were available, and ended up keeping 7, and that's quite a bit on my limited budget. It would be nice to see the 3442 truck return as well. That was a nice one too. Only kept 4 of (...) (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

Wouldn't this be more of an OOC than a MOC? With so many people working on it, "My" doesn't fit, "Our" does ;-) (...) -- Tom Stangl *(URL) Visual FAQ home *(URL) Visual FAQ Home (21 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) Very true. I used the term MOC generically as 'non-TLG-creation', without thinking about the literal meaning as an abbreviation. If you'd want to coin the term OOC, this display certainly fits the bill, since it was a team project and it (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.town)

Cross-posting to .build.microscale, just in case anyone there missed this. All I can say is wow! I especially like the microscale vehicles. Do you have any closer pictures of the forklift in this picture: (URL) Another particularly clever microscale (...) (20 years ago, 24-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) I'm glad you noticed the vehicles, since there are not many close up pictures of them. Here are the ones I do have: (4 URLs) The trucks are all 3 wide, the other cars 2 wide and the forklifts 1 wide. (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.town, lugnet.build.microscale, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

Wow, what a great model - and great use of MLCAD as well. Now what I really want to know... Was any Grolsch consumed during (or after!) the build?? ;^) Darrell (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC: Grolsch Brewery Plant

(...) The only time we consumed Grolsch was during the toast as part of the unveiling ceremony :-) Otherwise we wouldn't have been able to count all those studs in the instructions... Eric (20 years ago, 25-May-04, to lugnet.town, FTX)
