You're purposely asking the wrong question. I believe there *was*
a good deal of complaining when the (inferior) Jack Stone minifigs
arrived and started replacing the older minifigs in some sets.
When Lego replaces a standard with something better there is a great
deal less complaining. There is nothing inherently better about the
new colors to offset the hardship this is going to cause to anyone
working to build up a collection of same colored parts. I personally
feel they've betrayed my trust by providing one color of brown roof
slopes for a short time on the lego website, and then arbitrarily
changing that color so the parts I've already purchased don't match.
And looks like they weren't even planning on telling us the pieces
wouldn't match!
It's gonna take some serious candy coating to make this pill taste
good. I say, show me the sugar if they want me to keep buying!
