Re: New colors and other info

(...) Every kid I have ever seen in the Lego aisle has behaved in a more mature manner than the author of this post. And that includes the ones that were bawling their brains out. What a shameful display of bad manners and ill temper. In my (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX) !

Re: New colors and other info

My concern is more with brown going away. Brown was a neglected color. For years, Lego did not make a 1x4 brick in this color, and hasn't made a full set of brown bricks available in a bucket or bulk pack. It was impossible to get the right slopes (...)   Re: New colors and other info

(...) Hmm...that means 2004 Hogwart's Castles are probably going to have the new colors...There's plenty of original Hogwart's Castles at the Lego Outlets in Atlanta!   Re: New colors and other info

(...) I hate to sound negative in my response but this color modification news is a bit disappointing. Perhaps I am just a little too traditional in my Lego values, but a modification to the color palette doesn’t seem to be consistent with people’s (...)   Re: New colors and other info

(...) Thanks for the info. But I'm still not happy with this modification. Gray colours are supposed to be dull, somehow I can't imagine shiny and "sharp coloured" tank. Right, Lego isn't making tanks... (...) That means old colours will not be (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  About the colors....

Has anyone thought that this might be an entirely new color of grey? Blue-grey or metal-grey? Also that "new light grey" seems like the mosiac color of very-light-grey. (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New colors and other info

Hi Jake, I'm not trying to shoot the messanger, but I want to make sure the LEGO company hears what I have to say. This is an expansion on what I sent you earlier. I'm glad to hear the stud shapes aren't changing. However, I will tell you as an AFOL (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

(...) Hello All, Many thanks Jake for your efforts on giving us an appropriate and accurate (as far as possible for now) response to our deepest fears.   Re: New colors and other info

(...) How exactly does it destroy backwards compatibility? I can't imagine that a new 2x4 grey and an old 2x4 grey will go together any differently than a 2x4 white and a 2x4 red - or any other two colors. James (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

Re: New colors and other info
