(...) I kinda agree. A slight variation in color will make things look beter. Mechs, for instance, will look dirtier if two different shades are used. And it will add to "brick" effects on buildings. Three things: 1. I don't think anyone objects to additional colors, they object to color replacement with a different colors. 2. I think it's fine if LEGO wants to ADD more colors to their spectrum, but REPLACING colors is a bad idea; especially staple colors like light and dark gray. Josh..in my house NO ONE SMOKES and I have noticed some 6 months ago that when you put alot of dark gray tiles together they do not match( I used a large number on that pepsi building roof edge and a ton on that road in my flatiron block) This is (...) Here is my method of stacking 143 2x4 bricks, 2 2x2 and 21 1x2 in a Pick-A-Brick cup and still having the lid snap tight. I watched Chris Phillips pack one cup then took the idea home and used some trial and error to improve my piece counts. I just (...) My only beef with them is that the glue doesn' last very long and after a while the stickers start peeling or just pop right off. (...) Our biggest concern was to see how many 2x4 blocks we could easily get in each cup. So far the easiest way I have found is as below......... I recently made a trip to the pick-a-brick at the Orlando LEGO Imagination Center and spent time stacking bricks to fit inside the large cup. Very nice article and very nice torsos. I noticed that you did not mention the use of self adhesive labels. I know a lot of folks print directly to these labels and then just cut-and-peel them off and stick them on. You can even get the labels in (...)
