Not from here, thanks; I don't fly to job tryouts unless I'm paid to do so. :)
If it were closer, I would, just for the experience, and the AFOL retirement
home bragging rights <crotchety voice> "I remember back in ought three, when I
was a finalist in Phoenix..."</crotchety voice>
But that being said, I doubt I would accept the job even if it fell in my lap; I
like the job I've got, it [probably] pays more, and I love Edmonton. You would
need to pay me an obscene amount of money to move away from friends and family.

I think it's a cool publicity stunt, but my business acumen has to question
short-listing to 6 people (one from each city, ya?) based on skill alone. You
don't want to have to do this three more times in the next year because the new
guy drives everyone crazy. :)
