2 new MHOF : KING KAHUNA AND FUTURON 1

For more details, visit the Minifig Hall of Fame at (URL) for your time. (...)   Re: Cool Lego site of the last 14 weeks...

Maybe it hasn't changed because only 27 people voted. I was going to post something about this myself, but someone else did. Thanks. This situation needs to be fixed. (22 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Clickits

(...) I haven't actually opened my Toy Fair preview pack (doesn't appear to be an actual retail set), but just looking through the clamshell packaging, there are multiple "female" pieces. The one you mentioned is the one designed to allow (...) (22 years ago, 31-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.clikits)

Re: Cool Lego site of the last 14 weeks...

(...) LOL While I understand your point Lar, I'd too love to see a new CLSotW. (Cool poster btw, gotta ask Jeroen to help me one of these days... almost enough LDRAW files) (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

  Clickits

Hey: The serious compatibility problem "Clikits" elements have in relation to regular lego bricks and plates has largely already been explained here: (URL) What was not emphasized enough was the extreme importance of the element described by Mark as (...)   Re: Looking for early 70s set ID

(...) This is a great question. Put on your thinking caps people! What sets had blue bases? By 1973 there are a lot of green ones! I think I had the same stuff: a lot of white 2x8s from then, blue bases, and the other parts you mention. However, (...) (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) I think I had the same stuff: a lot of white 2x8s from then, blue bases, and the other parts you mention. However, mine came from a garage sale about 1974 (and included a lot of glued-up red CA 2x4 bricks.) -Erik (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Cool Lego site of the last 14 weeks...

(...) Probably, because I'm not following you exactly. I dunno about you, and maybe I'm biased because Jeroen made such a nifty poster of my gear, but I can think of no better site for the CLSotW to be stuck on! digitalbricks.nl just totally rocks! (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

Looking for early 70s set ID

Hi, all, I'm trying to figure out which was my first Lego set. I've dug around the LUGNET set guide, but I'm stumped. It was circa 1972, and the set had 6 blue 10x20 baseplates, and bricks in red, white, blue, and clear. It had a bunch of 2x8 white (...) (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: My first (and probably only) poll

Hmm. I voted for "buy it and demand a discount" as closest to my real response. More precisely I'd show it to a manager and ask what kind of discount I could get. If it was deep enough to make up for probable missing pieces (minifigs, often), I'd (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) experience, but I really like this. I'm even more glad that I asked my question, since it's given me a look at several groovy MOCs that I hadn't seen before. Thanks for your input! Dave! (22 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: High Hopes

(...) That's not the one I thought I was thinking of, but it's definitely the accessible arthopod abdomen that was haunting my memory. Very, very, cool model. I'm pretty sure the the one I'm after is an ant rather than a spider, though I still can't (...) (22 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

  Re: Arrgh! Forgot Brickshelf password

(...) Yes, I figure that's what I'm going to have to do. It's kind of frustrating, too, because I've sent 2 emails to Kevin, and got no reply at all, not even a "sorry, can't help you," message. James (22 years ago, 28-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space)
