| | | | Looking for early 70s set ID
|
| Hi, all, I'm trying to figure out which was my first Lego set. I've dug around the LUGNET set guide, but I'm stumped. It was circa 1972, and the set had 6 blue 10x20 baseplates, and bricks in red, white, blue, and clear. It had a bunch of 2x8 white (...) (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

| Hmm. I voted for "buy it and demand a discount" as closest to my real response. More precisely I'd show it to a manager and ask what kind of discount I could get. If it was deep enough to make up for probable missing pieces (minifigs, often), I'd (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
