Why is the July-August Lego Magazine so small?

I just received the July-August Lego Magazine today and it had only 11 pages! Usuall, in the older Magazines it had at least 25 pages. Does anyone know why? Is this happening only in Canada? Off Topic: Does anyone know when the Canadians get the (...) (22 years ago, 29-Jul-03, to lugnet.general)

How does the "recharge" work in the new racers multi-challenge race track work (8364)

I was looking at the new LEGO catalog and it discusses a large new racers set (8364) called the multi-challenge race track. It appears to have "recharge" stations that charge up the cars for additional race time. It says that the set required 4 AA (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jul-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Inventor 4094 monkey doesn't work!

Has anyone succeeded in getting the monkey in 4094 to traverse the string? Mine won't, the arm doesn't catch the string as it rotates, it misses by quite a margin, due I think to the weight of the monkey pulling the arms off-centre. Perhaps someone (...)   Re: Strange plate bottom variant

(...) This is very interesting. Maybe the missing "dimples" were an error in die making, or were smoothed off a damaged die?
