To All,
I am not sure where to post this, so I am starting in general! : )
I have been using the LUGNET inventory to make sure I have decent inventory
of my sets and parts (Thanks Todd). I also use Excel, for tracking other
items I am related in, such as price, minifig count, and savings on sets.
I have run into a special issue as it relates to the multi-set combo packs.
I bought a few of the 6569 Polar Explorer, that combines set 6578 Polar
Explorer and also 6586 Polar Scout.
Basically, 6569 lists itself as Piece Count 76, and Minifigs as 2. The
individual sets also list part counts and minifigs. So if I put 6569 down,
and the set numbers, then that doesn't accurately reflect my set count, etc.
What would be a good way to approach this? Is there something that might
need to be done because of this? I can fix this in Excel easily enough, but
I am not sure what to do with the 6569.

| (...) I guess the problem is what you're looking to do with the data. For accurate piece counts, you'd obviously want to just enter either the combo set number *OR* the individual sub-sets. That'd mean your piece counts would be accurate, your "My (...) (21 years ago, 14-May-03, to lugnet.general)
