Well... and I thought I had it bad.

Well, even though I started this thread, I too have feedback disruptions.
For me it's a matter of time. Being a young teen and having school and my
parents and my studies of the violin, sometimes spare time can be hard to
find. Not to mention computor use wars. :)
Sometimes I have plenty of time, but no new MOCs. And sometimes I have
time, and the good MOCs, but I'm simply lazy. I guess the only solution to
this would be to just go and do it!

Well, as others have said, other online Lego forums and groups have popped
up, no doubt inspired by LUGNET. And people now probably just adopt a
'well, if I don't do it, other people will' philosophy.
But in general, I think that LUGNET is pretty healthy. Just glancing at the
flame-war Yahoo! news forums, I have to say that I should feel thankful for
LUGNET and all it does.

In fact, I think that many more new people have joined than those who left.
In .space, Gil Shaw, Andrew Martin, and a few others in this thread have
joined, and I've seen pretty cool creations.
But I think another factor would be that many more people are lurking and
less posting.

I think the 'why' is pretty well aswered, in this thread.
But for the 'what can we do'... oh, wait is that my mom calling me? Gotta
run... More later.
But very interesting ideas, people!

| I'm going to be honest. I don't look at even a 4th of as MOCs these days because of Brickshelf's speed. When I say Brickshelf is slow, I don't mean just a little sluggish. It's unbearable. It takes about a minute and a half for the recent updates (...) (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.general)
