    2 x4 brick down drain —Sheree Rosenkrantz
   One 2 x4 brick escaped my collander to go down the drain in my bathroom sink. Has anyone else had this experience? My sink has not slowed- yet... Will it just flush on through? Is this going to cause me problems later? I am not looking forward to at (...) (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.storage)

     (...) yeah, pretty sure. A lot of water has gone down the drain since then. What makes it so bad is that the drain was slow this morning, Gary plunged it - all the while, he teased me that it was probably a brick down the drain. It wasn't then, it (...)      (...) I've had a few small parts go down the drain (bummer). I've gotten a lot more careful about washing. I suspect the brick will just wash on through unless your pipes are close to clogged. Frank (23 years ago, 19-May-01, to lugnet.storage)

   (...) A 2x4 is large and pointy, compared to drain pipes (a lot of which are 1.5" or 2" I.D. and that's before grease/hair etc narrow them, so it depends on how long and or twisty the run is.
