My guess exactly.

Thanks, but I can't help organising it actively, since I live in Europe. So
hopefully someone in the US would like to organise something and contact
him? Even if it is not possible at LLC it's good that they know someone is
planning something and perhaps TLC has more places where such event could be
held?

That is one of the reasons the EuroFest didn't happen... :-( Most of the big
convention rooms are quite expensive to rent, and it's hard to guess how
many people would visit to determine the size of the room and income to
finance the fest.
Is there a (rough) estimate how many people visited the Mindfest? What size
of room(s) would you need to have a similar event? Maybe Kevin Loch's next
poll could be "Would you visit an AFOL organised Mindfest?" or something
similar?

Sounds good :-)
There are many more things that could be organised like competitions,
exhibitions, workshops, buildingareas, brickwars, pirategaming, a building
project during the fest etc. etc.
The ideas are there, now the people to make them a reality ;-)
