Do minifigs have any intrest in music and if they do what type?

Good question!

The only instrument I've seen actually made by Lego for minifigs is the
Wild West cavalry trumpet. There were also drums built from bricks in
the Islanders sets. Lots of people have done marching bands of various
sizes, from TLC to myself.

Of course with some of the part in town. You could build a 'really big' synth
at minfig scale? You could proably add Jarre style fx if you where careful. I
was asking because I was intrested and also because I had a load of old
Commodore 64 Musics sitting pon my drive.(The HVSC collection in *.SID fromat
played using the Sidplay format) and was wondering if minfigs liked the  tunes
like the ones in video games or 'experimental' synth albums.

(To build a model theremin in lego would only need a 2x2x2 and arieal?)

I was (subject to (C)'s) hoping to add music tracks as polish to the fan-zine
(when it EVENTUALLY comes out...?). So if you've got suitable musics I'm a
listenin....

Tom Macdonald (IIRC) has done some great minifig guitars etc
("Brickenrocker Guitars") and a Legopalooza concert model. There's a
model of a symphony orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl at one of the
Legolands (Carlsbad?) and pics of it in teh Ultimate Lego Book.

Noted.

My minifigs enjoy the classical music that plays while they are being
played with... at least, they haven't complained yet!

I think the ones I play with enjoy the 'werid' synth 'classics' and 'early
80's' tracks I play...

(...) Only one comment: make any music OPTIONAL, please! I hate sites which start to play music at me. Kevin ---...--- Personal Lego Web page: (URL) Air Market: Limited edition kit (URL) Kits & Custom Lego models: (URL) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.general)
