    Timmy —Jonathan Lill
This may seem like a silly question butitshows how recently I've joined lugnet. I've noticed numerous references to the Timmy minifig. What sets did he come in, where may I find a picture of him, and what does he represent that he his held in such (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Timmy —Robert M. Dye
(...) Ah..."Timmy." (Actually, "Tim.") This fig first appeared in the Time Cruisers sets. You see it some in the Freestyle stuff, too. He is held in contempt, I think, because he is sort of like Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: the Next Genearation. (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) his (...) I personally hate Timmy because he represents the current inanity found in some of the sets (Time Twisters, Town Jr., Town Jr-Jr, etc - remember when cars had doors?). Everyone needs a scapegoat, and his freaky features nominated (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

(...) his (...) Do you hate the inclusion of Anakin in the 7141 Naboo Fighter LEGO set? (...) I had a Tim as a kid, in the little tricycle-like time machine. He didn't bother me that much, he was just a minifig with a unique head (most of my (...) (24 years ago, 13-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

        Ah, evil timmy... —Drew Lawrence
(...) lugnet. (...) A) He can be found in almost any set of the TimeCruisers theme. B) I'm not exactly sure, but I think it is the 'stupidifying' of the Lego system. Leave that to Bellville and Duplo, and don't give us these weird looking Lego kids. (...) (24 years ago, 11-Jul-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Ah, evil timmy... —Shiri Dori
(...) The only offense taken is in regard to the Belville theme... I don't feel that BV is anywhere comparable to Timmy, it is *that* much better, and is not stupidified at all. It is marketed to young girls (5-12) and appeals to what many girls (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.belville)
