I made the rounds of the local Targets today. Things were still at 40%
off, and I picked up the last Flying Ninja's Fortress (6093) and Chief's
Tepee (6746) since I don't have either set yet & they're worth the
price. While scanning almost everything, I noticed that Robo Master
(2154) and Chopper Cop (6324) showed up as just $CLEARANCE, so I asked a
guy in the toy section what the price was. Chopper Cop was $.84 and
Robo Master was $9.99. I snagged all the Robo Masters (too many good
parts to pass up at that price) and would have grabbed all the Chopper
Cops but there was another person in the aisle and I felt obligated to
let her get a few, too.
Of the 4 local Targets, 2 are picked almost clean, 1 has a decent
selection and enough Bat Lord's Castle that they should last until they
drop the prices again, and the last is so full that it looks like they
closed down the LEGO aisle just before Christmas and just opened it back
up. I'm hoping they'll realize that they need to drop their prices
again to make room.

| (...) Awesome deal! I'm still hoping the few remaining 2153's I've seen stay long enough to drop again. I've picked up a couple at $17.90, but even though I like the parts in it and know I can sell those I don't want for a decent bit, I'd prefer to (...) (26 years ago, 3-Jan-99, to lugnet.general)
