I don't know if this helps any , but.. Checking four pieces of LEGO literature
(US and EU), I can say only that 3405 is always depicted as below (blue truck,
white windows). And 3406 as reverse color, figs not shown. The figs in photo
below look like the team of white & black bus (3404). I know the red bus (3407)
has a team of red torsos, white legs.
I seem to remember other pics from Toyfair. I'll look and post if I find a
picture of the team.

| According to www.lego.com/football/ , set 3406 (blue windows) has the team of blue torsos. Must be a mistake in that new catalog. But we still don't know if they've gotten the number wrong or the set picture. sorry can't be more help. -Suz. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.general)
