Hey, some of my best friends are (SCA) Vikings! :-)

Seriously, the Vikings are being "rehabilitated" by historians at the
moment but I suspect that the pendulum is doing what it normally does
and swinging too far before ending up somewhere in the middle. The fact
that they were "'sea and >river faring explorers, traders and settlers'
and 'artists and story tellers' doesn't mean they didn't do a lot of
raping and pillaging in their forays around and into the rest of Europe.
There was a good reason people were afraid of them :-)

And yes, I would like to see a Viking theme, as well as Greeks and
Romans and Celts and others.
