Hi everybody-

I'm just now starting to dabble in LEdit and LDraw, but this is a
slightly different issue:  I've found a piece in the database that I've
never seen before!  Now, this isn't exactly impossible, because my
exposure was only after 1975--but I think this is a much more recent
part, perhaps falling in my 1989-94 "Dark Ages" (what lousy timing).

The part I can't identify is:

http://home.att.net/~partsref/images/2641.gif

What is it?  What's it from?  (Anyone got two they can spare over in
b-s-t?  ;) )  Two other parts about which I have questions:

http://home.att.net/~partsref/images/2635.gif
http://home.att.net/~partsref/images/2681.gif

That last one (L/D 2681) is pretty straightforward--the tall
monorail/soccer light post/train wash strut.  However, was it ever
produced in any colour other than black?  L/D 2635 is also of interest,
because I know it exists in red (4565) and white (Century Skyway), but I
seem to remember an iteration in yellow and another colour.  In what
colours and sets did those appear?  they do make marvelous crane
platforms and midships catapult risers.

The interest in these pieces is as supports and "visual effects" for
large WWI/WWII naval vessels.  Any information on these pieces' origins
and variations would be greatly appreciated, especially on L/D 2641.

Many thanks,

Lindsay
