    Hmm —Steve Bliss
I was sitting at my desk, working on a project. I had stopped for a minute, to think through a particular point, and I looked over at my Soccer stadium setup. Someone had taken my Night Lord, astride his black dragon, and set them in the middle of (...) (26 years ago, 7-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Hmm —Richard Dee
(...) Recent thefts at the office, (fortunately, not my Lego), has led me to not bring in stadium elements for a set-up, as they are a bit problematic to bring in and back home repeatedly. At work, I have the Shell pitstop, a Hovertron, Postie on (...) (26 years ago, 7-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Hmm —Tom Stangl
We have had thefts here, but never any of my Lego. If someone were to take any, there would be no crying on MY part. Maybe the relatives of the thief at the funeral.... I DID have some co-workers take one tiny creation from my cube once and set it (...) (26 years ago, 7-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

         Re: Hmm —Louise Belles
(...) I once gave a windsurfing minifig to a professor (1) with a shark biting the board. He was very amuzed since he was an avid windsurfer. But the fun stuff happened latter. When students came to his office they would always figet with the (...) (26 years ago, 11-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Hmm —Lee Jorgensen
Luckily, I only have 3 other people in the office, so finding out who did something is pretty easy. Letsee ... I have the 8440 car and 8480 space shuttle, and 5591 as well. I like the larger sets at work, more of a talking piece. When I get my 8880, (...) (26 years ago, 8-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

I kind of like the looks of the alt-model for the 8880 ... (1) -Lee. (2) (1) - though, you brought the instructions to work as well? (2) - just testing out this footnote thingy ... :) (...) (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

          Re: Hmm —Tom Stangl
I NEVER BUILT the main model. I think the "bodywork" is UGLY. I built the alternate first, and haven't touched it since. Someday I'll rip it apart and built the alternate PROPERLY, with transmission and other extras, but it will take more parts, and (...) (26 years ago, 10-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)

        Re: Hmm —Richard Dee
I would love to rebuild the 8480 and put it on my desk! I have slowly been re-engineering the 8880 for right-hand drive, with the hopes of bringing it in, just don't have anywhere to store it at night.... Lee Jorgensen wrote in message (...) (26 years ago, 12-Dec-98, to lugnet.general)
