  Q:Window and door terminology
 
As a fairly new LEGO maniac, I am wondering what the proper terminology is for windows and doors. I understand standard bricks, i.e 2x4x1 (If just 2x4, the third value is understood) but I am unsure as to door and window descriptions. It looks like (...) (...) Two answers: 1) With regard to auctions run in the lunget.market.auction newsgroup: Holding an auction -- yes -- pretty much anything goes. This would probably be a bad idea but I had fun considering it: Lego bricks with silkscreened photographs on them -some possible uses: * build a picture with bricks, like a puzzle * neat patterns printed on bricks to be used anywhere * rearrange the (...)   Good baseplates
 
I just opened set #6079 Dark Forest Fortress ($24.49 at Costco, tons left at Kirkland,WA store) and couldn't believe what a great baseplate came in it. It is just perfect for a curved road section with some terrain. I am now going back to get a (...) (26 years ago, 2-Oct-98, to lugnet.general)
