Re: LEGO at $60 a barrel

(...) This is a legitimate concern. Yanick Fournier (URL) posted> a helpful heads-up a little while back on this very issue (albeit for a competitor brand) and I posted my observations on a price increase of some 15% at my local KMart. I don't track (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  LEGO at $60 a barrel

The Southern California LEGO Train Club makes it's custom table system using white vinyl coated hardboard for the surfaces and 1.9 inch diameter black ABS pipe for the legs. That's ABS as in the same stuff that LEGO is made of. When we first started (...) (21 years ago, 5-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: The LEGO Revival Survey

Thank you everyone for helping out with the survey. This is available until August 1st at which point it will be formatted and sent to LEGO.   Re: Very Rare Canadian Only Plates?

cutting and pasting the part in photoshop despite the 4x2 being a slightly darker shade, the plate fits precicely over the lower plate. The shadows on the plate match up too. (...) Thanks Eric, I knew you would enjoy them. Here is a translation I received via email from Allan Johansen. <begin email from Allan> It is indeed Danish. A translation would be: The idea behind the centrally depicted plastic city plan* is to (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: MegaBloks

(...) Yah, but i was wondering, or secretly hopping that it'd reach mass retail in the U.S. and Canada! I recall now that it might have been pushed back a year in our market... What i'd really like are some definitive answers regarding product (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.pirates, lugnet.castle)

(...) That's too funny... lol I like how you felt the need to justify that! That made me smile. Well done. :-) --==Richard==-- (21 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

Re: Very Rare Canadian Only Plates?

(...) Thanks Phil! (I sent him an email and asked him to check this thread out.) I was hoping that there would be a new (old) "undiscovered" Lego part. But what you say makes sense. The photo does look somewhat awkward in that regard. But how do you (...) (21 years ago, 4-Jul-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto)

Re: Very Rare Canadian Only Plates?

(...) I have studied the advert again closely, and am of the opinion that this piece does not exist. I think it's a printer's creative mistake, done just to improve the composition of the graphics (and to confuse historians in the future ;-). a) The (...)
