  Re: Moonbase corridor ideas

(...) Actually now that you say that I kind of like the idea of courtyards if they happened. And remember the figs can always go in and out another door or airlock. (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Re: Moonbase corridor ideas

(...) I think having a ground floor level could be quite neat. I like the second version better. Keep the spacing the same. I do wonder about the little courtyards that could be formed by a block of 4 moonbases all with ground floor cooridors. The (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Box repair

I recently won an auction for a 7720. The box was pretty beat up. About the only thing I could do was use a very clear, wide packing tape from Scotch to shore things up. -- Bryan "Piers Saunders" <angelus@cwcom.net> wrote in message (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) Since you mentioned non-Lego stickers, I too have been guilty of that one. But not in the way one would think. I have a bunch of leftover vide tape label strips. I cut them into small pieces, and use them to cover over the "missing notch of (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

My first-ever Lugnet post, hoping I do this right: Jake's questions have been answered with many of my thoughts already so I'll just add a few tidbits. > * Would you buy LEGO toys for children 0-11? Y/N Absolutely. I have kids 8, 10, and 12. All (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Welcome back John : ) You're on the right track here. I played with this same idea a while back. and came to a simmilar conclusion. I agree that the second method is best. -JSM (...) (21 years ago, 26-Apr-05, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general)

  Moonbase corridor ideas

While building a new demo-module for the Moonbase page I started thinking about ground level module corridors. I wrote a big post about it in my blog.   Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) I guess I wouldn't see it as a waste of a wish if it came true. :) I would prefer new parts like a 3x3 (or a 1x5) not because they are particularly innovative, but rather because they would nicely blend in with the traditional 'standard' (...)   Box repair

I've recently won some items on eBay - one of them unfortunately got damaged in transit (poor packing). What type of glue is best glue to use to reattach a lid and should I try to remove the old glue 'strip'. Also, if a box has become ripped - is (...) (21 years ago, 25-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Custom Lego Building Benches and Tables

I bought a house a few months ago and will be turning part of the finished attic into a Lego space.   Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) A point worth mentioning is that the difference between LEGO quality and MEGABLOKS quality is not as great as the difference in price, and that's the real problem.
