Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) My one wish would be a double concave 75 degree slope in black, and it would be sold to the public in a pack of various black 75 degree slopes. (...) Yes, that would be wonderful as well. An inside corner (double concave) like this would also (...) (21 years ago, 24-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: [rtlToronto] rtlToronto Train Show April 24th, 2005

(...) Well, setting up went as smooth as one could possibly expect, considering the bad weather and long lineups. Anyway, a reminder that if you're in the GTA tomorrow, come on over to the International Centre and have a boo at the layout. I've put (...)   Apply the mirror concept!

Great thread idea, Gary! There are tons of excellent ideas listed here, but I can't pick any one (or choose just one of my own) so I'll step back a little for my suggestion. I wish Lego would attempt to always produce a "mirror" or inverse of the (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: BrikThulhu Rising

(...) Hint: look at it upside-down. Mike, these paintings are EXCELLENT! Not just 'tulhu, but everything you've painted. From the heroic spacemen on the battlefield to the evil timmies... wonderful work. (21 years ago, 23-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: BrikThulhu Rising

First the abomination of the nega bloktrix, then the fearsome two by two, now, as if in answer to the signs of the apocalypse, BrikThulhu. I am trying to figure out if BrikThulhu emerged from the illuminated portal on the left face of the pyramid. I (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Holy Mackerel! LEGO survey...

(...) Definitely. In fact, LEGO is essentially the ONLY toy I buy as gifts for children. (...) It is a great toy. It teaches creativity and should be part of everyone's childhood. And I give it as gifts because many parents do not buy it due its (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  The Shipyard is Back

I've added (URL) The Shipyard> to Zemi.net. The gallery submission process is now automated with many thanks to Bram Lambrecht.   BrikThulhu Rising

Every day seems to bring new evidence of conspiracies within conspiracies in the upper echelons of Lego - but it was only recently that I noticed what should have been obvious all along: any common brick, studs-out and with one corner pointing (...)   Introductions and News

All, my colleague Jeff James has had some problems posting to LUGNET and asked me to forward this note along: === Hi All! This is my first post on LUGNET, so a quick introduction may be in order. The old robot head: (URL) - it is now known as "1x1 Brick With Studs on Four Sides". Your cad diagram does help conjure up what you meant. Perhaps another couple of rotated view might aid the process. Basing a concept on the (URL) may yet yeild a (...) (21 years ago, 22-Apr-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.technic)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) This one exists :-) Ok, so I think you meant a 2x2 quarter round tile as opposed to the 2x2 tile with a 1x1 quarter round bite taken out of it (that shows up in the original Scala mirror frame). (...) I'd rather see a complete set of (...) (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

Re: If you could wish for any single Lego element, what would it be?

(...) 1X2 triple convex slope at 33° in black. I don't need a bunch of them, but I do need them. I suspect many other builders need them too, from what I've seen as far as roof peak modifications with 33° roofs. (21 years ago, 21-Apr-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Does it exist?

(...) Good call! That wasn't quite what I was envisioning, but I guess it qualifies. For that matter, one might make a half-hearted case that the "Space Positioning Rockets" might sort of partially qualify, with the one-stud-plate overhang. (...)
