  "The LEGO Group" or "The LEGO Company"?
 
Just a small question as I edit the Wikipedia article on LEGO ("(URL) exactly, is the difference between The LEGO Group and The LEGO Company? Is the Company owned by the Group? I weep in sadness for LUGNET. I feel sad that a majority of people here only come out to opnionate themselves and leave honest builders and their efforts ignored. I weep for what could be. I was just perusing my April 2005 issue of FineScale Modeler, and found Lego making a cameo appearance. In the "Coming in the May issue" section on p. 73, there's a teaser for an article on resin casting, and a picture of someone pouring mold (...) (...) They weren't included in any USA Lego catalog that we know of but here are the catalogs Gary referred to (starting in 1964): (URL) 1966 they weren't in the catalog any more as individual cars. However they came back in the 1967-1969 catalogs (...) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) Hey Dave, Hope this makes you feel better (maybe you didn't throw away Lego cars after all). The 1:87 Lego cars/trucks are die cast, but they are plastic (Cellulose Acetate from 1955-63, ABS 1963-70). The only metal part was the wheels and (...) (21 years ago, 3-Mar-05, to lugnet.general)
