You're right. Good catch (also to Ray on the LURP). Do you think this is actually two different tones of plastic, or something we could all duplicate with existing trees and a can of white spraypaint (I suspect the latter)? Anyone else think the (...) I had the pleasure of walking through LEGO's exhibit at Nuremberg on opening day of Spielwarenmesse. I took no pictures (technically, photos are 'verboten' at the tradeshow -- or so it says on the access badges). The Star Wars area had a life sized (...) (21 years ago, 13-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

I having some trouble identifying a set I purchased in the late 1990s. I'm pretty sure it was a freestyle set, but it came with a strange base, shown here: (URL) base didnt have any studs, just spaces to place one 16x24 base plate and three 8x16 (...) (21 years ago, 12-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

Man, the color variations on certain parts in these sets just make me lime green with envy! Why do the girls' sets have such cool parts?
