(...) An update to the previously stated. I now have 3 4679's with different serial numbers. The third is 2814, and it is closely related to 2714 in contents. It also has old grey's in the tub. Hey do you guys think this might have been a preview of a real set? It at least looks like it could be. I wonder why it was removed. I really wanted to show it to someone. Speculation? Thoughts? That would be one heck of a set. I'd buy it in a snap. (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)

While working on the Lego CD, I talked with my friend Kurt Richter of Germany, who knows a lot about early Lego. It seems that in 1957 when Lego came out with the classic windows - 1x6x3 (Panorama), 1x6x2 (3 pane), 1x6x2 (shutter), 1x4x2, 1x3x2, (...) (21 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.general)
