a friend and I are running into the same problem. He had all his LEGO stored in his basement and with huracaine Ivan the basment filled with water to the floor joists. every peice of lego is caked with mud. it is pretty bad. so far he's soaking it (...) (22 years ago, 24-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

I'm really mad at Lego right now! I just bought 10 sets of their seasonal set "Turkey" #10090 and what I got isn't what they pictured on their website! I feel cheated! If you go and look at the picture of the turkey you will see that the wings of (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Well, while Lego is about 2x MegaBlok prices in the US, European prices are typically between 1-2x the US price. So European Lego might cost as much as 4x a comperable MegaBlok set. It's most likely one of the factors that has cause US prices (...) (22 years ago, 23-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)
