(...) You can access older purchase history by going to the catalog page of the item and clicking on the Add to My Inventory link. Then scroll down the page to "Check the Price Guide if this Item has been Sold Before" and click on the Whole Price (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) ... I am not a collector, but I assumed that 1593, the space-themed 'Super Model' released in 1983, was the most valuable. BrickLink has sold one MISB for $1780, and currently has one listed used for $1500. I recall one selling on eBay for (...) (22 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

In my upcoming Lego CD I mention what I consider to be the most valuable Lego sets. Until recently most AFOLs probably thought that the #398 USS Constellation was the most valuable Lego set. Well there are a few sets that are more valuable (...) (22 years ago, 4-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)
