Hey all, It took some time, but I've finally come to a very sad decision: I will no longer purchase any new Lego and I will no longer declare myself an advocate for TLG. I might have been able to tolerate the color change, but the click-hinge (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jul-04, to lugnet.general) !

Hey Anthony, Great Swans! They should be a great addition to your wedding. I also was in my dark age during my wedding. Is it any wonder where we got the shape for the modern valentine heart? (URL) I created an identical Swan using all the left over white bricks I had. It wasn't a pretty build, let me tell you. Very nice. While I personally would have used plates/slopes in such an endeavor, I will say that using strictly bricks still looks VERY nice, I certainly can't fault the final product. (...) Have you accounted for common mode error? Many bricks are produced by the same mold. If 12 2x4s are produced per machine cycle, then 1 in 12 will be from the same part of the mold.
