I'm back in the saddle from being in Germany for 1000steineLand. My tounge is
still hanging out over the great MOCs there. Time for me to get building!
A quick update after some questions asked this past weekend.
Some people have asked me about the data collected by the recent survey for bulk
elements that was run by Richard on PaBtrak.com. The data has been turned over
to the appropriate people to use in the appropriate way. I'm sorry I can't be
more specific than that quite yet.
I know many of you were confused at "how" to answer what elements you wanted to
see as your top 20. Unfortunately, as mentioned at the time, the project was top
secret. To explain anything was basically explaining everything.
Some people have wondered why I didn't simply wait a bit longer to launch in
order to be able to announce more info. The fact is, it was a "now or never"
situation. The data needed to be passed to colleagues in a small window of time,
or we would miss having the ability to include AFOL's opinions. I assumed
(correctly, I hope), that you'd prefer to have some opinion heard, rather than
not being heard at all.
After this project has been revealed, you will understand the situation. You
will also have an easier time responding to survey number 2 (assuming that there
is a need/ability for one).
I'm sorry to be so vague, but I would ask that you trust me on this one.
