Re: Complete LEGO color reference - Color Tree Pages

(...) Before I asked this question I saw these webpages but I truely underestimated the content! The link between BrickLink names and Peeron names is on one page and the link between Peeron names and LEGO names is on the other. What I was trying to (...)   Re: Complete LEGO color reference - Color Tree Pages

(...) Stefan, My Color Tree provides the links you want. It gives a comparison of the current fan-named colors, matches to official Lego color names and numbers, and links to more information - just click on any color name to be taken to more info (...)   Minifig Torso and Shield Designs and Stickers - APPENDIX 1

Early this morning I published a new article for those people interested in Minifig torso and sticker designs. It's filled with designs inspired by the new Knight's Kingdom 2 product line as well as some images found on the LEGO.com website. Feel (...)   Re: Lego part available again after 27 years?

Creators abroad, a [medieval] Jade Empire awaits its formation...

Dear Builders & Buyers of Castle, I have decided that I want to help expand the number of medieval factions in the world of LEGO and-at the same time-help to rid you of your horrid bright green knights (Rascus minifigures). But alas, these figures (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, FTX)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

(...) Huh. Interesting. I'd never noticed that, but indeed the package says that the parts were made in China. It reminds me of my two Craftsman adjustable wrenches that were also made in China (they're 2" wrenches that were made for use as (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Lego part available again after 27 years?

Like many of you I have purchased a few of the new Harry Potter sets. There is a new one out called "Shrieking Shack" #4756, which appears to have (4) 2x2 inside corner regular sloped bricks in white! This piece has not been seen in 27 years, since (...)   Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

(...) While primarily correct, there have been several examples of TLC farming out some items to China (PRC). The ones I have noticed are: Galidor action figures, The recent McD's promos and (IIRC) the Bionicles from the previous cycle with McD's. I (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Complete LEGO color reference

(...) They do have official names (many of them horribly confusing), but they're probably regulated by the number codes. It's certainly easier to look up a color by number than by name, which is why paint chips use both (customers like to know that (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

(...) Poor sales of certain themes also contributed. I'm not sure where the loss in 1998 came from, but Galidor, the first wave of NHL sets (we'll have to see how the new minifig-scale sets do), and the NBA theme all pretty much tanked in their (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

  Re: Complete LEGO color reference

(...) Are you really sure you want to get into the wacky naming system used by The LEGO Company? What we commonly know as "smoke" or "trans-black" is officially known as "trans-brown". "Red" is "bright red", "blue" is "bright blue", but "green" is (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Going to Legoland with Binoculars...

(...) Thanks Niels, I agree that the last time Lego made a 1x3x2 window in white (in a set) was in 1970. However, I have 2 examples of this window in white that have no window "sills". This means that they were produced after 1972. I just found the (...) (22 years ago, 9-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Samsonite Lego in the USA (1961-72) were factory seconds??
