(...) Here's a one example doing a quick look on Brickshelf.... (URL) with probably more inner detail than you'd need. And an example of a smaller 2x2 brick you could work off of... (URL) Should be a good start. Kris (22 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  2x4 Brick model?

Hi, Does anyone have instructions for an enlarged 2x4 brick made of lego? I'd really like one about a foot long, but I guess I'd take any size. Oh, and it would really help if you had a parts list too.. That way I could just purchase exactly what I (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

Before you go running off on tangents, let's get one thing straight, Lego was in the red in those years, not because of poor sales for Lego sets, but for poor sales in their other ventures, clothing, pens, etc. Now a different spin I would like to (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Need help with stickers losing stickiness

(...) If the sticker has come all the way off you might try spray adhesive, like the kind used to mount pictures. It's meant to be removable. The other I can think of is a glue stick (name escapes me) but it is used to make normal paper into a (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Need help with stickers losing stickiness

(...) I've had some luck with "UHU" brand glue sticks. I also use these glue sticks to adhere mockups of custom "stickers" (printed on regular paper) prior to printing on self-adhesive sheets. One of the benefits to these glue sticks is that they (...) (22 years ago, 8-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: New Knight's Kingdom Prices

(...) I'm never sure whether to be amused or aggravated when I see people griping about how much more LEGO sets cost now than they did when they were growing up. The one simple answer that noone seems to figure out is "inflation". Think about it. (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

Longest beam (2x24) in new Belville, but...

The good news: In the new Belville sets is the longest brick (outside baseplates) I've seen so far: a 2x24 beam. The bad news: Its with notches at the ends (like (URL) and have PEGS sticking up (like the top of the JackStone pillars), so it's really (...)   X-Pod Play Off Game error page

Hello all, I have been playing the X-Pod game (currently downloadable at (URL)) for a little over a month now, and it’s really fun.   Having a little fun... Pleh!

As I work on the next sticker article I'm writing, Kevin Bricksidge gave me a funny idea. After re-creating the torso off this guy: (URL) I created shield versions of the same. Since it's a scorpion, Kevin said I should stick a radar dish on top of (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, FTX)

Need help with stickers losing stickiness

I have a couple older models whose stickers are starting to fall all - any suggestions on what to use to "reglue" the stickers back on? (22 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.general)

Update - New container ship colors

In case anyone is interested, I thought I'd pass on some info from new container ship color survey. Right now, both the dark green (no not regular green) and dark blue choices are neck and neck.   Re: mold variant: turntable 4 x 4

Niels - Thanks for the great comparison. I really enjoy analyzing old lego parts too :) Have you done comparisons like this for other parts? I was looking at some of my old 2x8 bricks (with old LEGO logo on them) and noticed that some of the logos (...) (22 years ago, 7-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Unknown part: Brick 2 x 4 with hole

(...) Thanx all, The lot contained some 2x4 duplo bricks as well (only 2x4s). Including some white bricks, I didn't know there were white duplo bricks back then. I never had much duplo when I was young, I guess I only had a small boat with a figure. (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.duplo, FTX)

Re: Unknown part: Brick 2 x 4 with hole

(...) Hi Niels, the brick was used in a Duplo set of the early 70s. I don't know the set number, sorry. And you are on the right way. Put a rope through the brick and you can use this to pull a basic car. I can only offer you a german reference for (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)
