(...) These have just turned up in Tasmania (and presumably the rest of Australia). Myer Hobart (Tasmania) have heaps of them at $A39.99 each, nearly half the price of the original set. I did wonder if we were going to get them or only Denmark! I (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.belville, lugnet.loc.au)

 | | LEGO, kids, and how it has come to this

Although the neighborhood knows there are a lot of LEGO bricks at our home and that big things go in and out from time time, we don't get a lot of walk-up traffic from curious kids. Today, however, a 9 year old and 10 year old came by with an (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX) !

(...) I think you can be a fan of the system without being a fan of the company. And I think you can be a fan of the company without being a fan of every decision that it takes. (...) Ok, I did go a little too far with that comment, I admit that, my mistake. Everything else however, I am standing by it. Perhaps another spin on it: How many times since Lego first introduced train sets have they changed the track size and (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

(...) [snip] (...) Whoa whoa whoa! Not cool. This is a legit report from a consumer that is appropriate for LEGO to hear. My own children don't care about the color change, nor do I think they've even noticed it, but that doesn't mean others (...) (22 years ago, 10-May-04, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general)

I'd like to suggest (as a reader) that this part of the thread be moved over to lugnet.color, or at least kept out of (...)
