Re: The GeeBee is Ready. [Image Heavy]

Congratulations on the gig, and it's clear from these pictures that it's well deserved. It's very refreshing to see such a well executed 'pure-brick' design. You make us proud to have you in our midst. Keep building! Peace and bricks, Professor (...) (22 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

  Re: Where in the world?

(...) Looks like PaB Billund to me... it squares with what I remember of how it looked. I could be mistaken though! (22 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.billund, lugnet.legoland.deutschland)

(...) Very nicely done. The shape is excellent and looks very substantial. Are you going to rebuild the whole thing from scratch at the show? That's a pretty tall order if you are. Or are you just going to partially disassemble this one and rebuild (...) (22 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

  Where in the world?

Can anyone tell me where this marvelous place is? (URL) Is it in a park, or freestanding retail? I see pricing in Euro and what might be German on some signs, but I'm not even sure photos in this directory are all from the same place. -Teddy (22 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.legoland.billund, lugnet.legoland.deutschland)

(...) Wow, that's a great model. The colors are awesome, and it looks like it pretty much only uses basic bricks. Very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of the pictures and commentary. Derek (22 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.loc.us.mi, FTX)

How much does the 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer weigh...?

Hello, For a friend I'm trying to find out how much the 10030 Imperial Star Destroyer weighs, in its box with the packaging materials and all included... Anyone have any idea...? Many thanks in advance, Anton (22 years ago, 29-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Orginal LEGO-stickers

One thing I do is scan all my stickers at super high resolution (600dpi, TIFF). The hi-res file is saved to CD-ROM and the original stickers are tucked away in a "sticker section" in my storage system. Then I print the stickers out on clear, matte (...) Hey all, I got tired of responding to myself for updates ((URL)), so I'll start a new thread for the good stuff. A bit of a late update, but what can I say?   Re: [Update!] Re: A GeeBee for the Zoo...

Another update - To anyone who might be planning on going to the opening on Thursday (not sure anyone was), I was wrong about it being open to the public.   Re: X-Pod Dragons

(...) SNIP (...) These are really cool (i meant to post this right away, but forgot, then it just popped into my head). I really like the green one, it reminds me of the cartoon dragon in the Pete's Dragon Disney movie. great job on both!   Orginal LEGO-stickers

I just wondering what I can do to preserve the orginal LEGO-stickers? I like to use them one time after I have built the main model in a orginal LEGO-set and take my own pictures of the model.   Re: Trains logo - need scan

(...) Well, this sounded like a worthy cause, so I scanned a Train Logo from an old catalogue at 300dpi, cleaned it up in Paint Shop Pro, and uploaded it to Brickshelf for your viewing pleasure: (URL) Strutt (22 years ago, 27-Apr-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.publish, lugnet.trains)

Re: Trains logo - need scan

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately this logo is rather small and won't scale up without a lot of pixelation. Anyone else have a good, high resolution scan of the Lego Trains logo? Bryan "M.
