(...) I just got these, and they're very neat. I like the idea of using the pod parts in the model ideas. It adds to the value of what you're buying, when the pod itself is useful. (...) I actually discovered the narrow-gap-version yesterday when inventorizing the three gray plates I bought sunday (1 narrow-gap-version, 2 large-gap-versions). Boo! Hiss.....By discontinuing existing colors, TLC seems to be shooting itself in the foot (again). Noting the rather large monetary losses shown by TLC last year I have to wonder if this is simply another "focusing on the wrong things" Sounds like (...) Hey, That is a very interesting part indeed! Do you have any idea where it came from or what set it is from? How long do you think you have had it? I have never seed a part like that before! I'm reposting this from a thread at FBTB: I'm a stickler for color matching and schemes, building in sometimes wacky color schemes, yes, but always unified. For a person like me, the two greys are distinct colors, one better used with blues (the (...) (22 years ago, 20-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)
