Re: Chat with Jake - Transcript

(...) I'd like to post my thanks Ben, Jake and to those who presented the questions. That was a very good, informative Q&A you had. To those who haven't read the transcript yet I certainly suggest doing so. Adr. (22 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New element (Was: Re: New x-pod sets)

(...) Hey Allan, My understanding is that the 1x1 brick with stud on only one side is not produced by TLC because the patent (!) is still owned by Ritvik and used in MegaBloks. That's why they could only do the 1x4 like that, at least until the part (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

Hi Jake! Thank you for the chance to 'chime in' on an official thread dealing with the new colors. As many other Lego fans are aware, I'm one of the company's biggest supporters of new colors. From the day Dark Grey debuted, I knew I would be hooked (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

Thanks for the opportunity to offer my opinions on the new 2004 colors. I'll have to admit that I'm disappointed with the new grays and brown.   Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

This is my first post on Lugnet and it couldn't be on a better topic. I was very closed minded that I would hate the new colors when I first read about the change on here. After getting some of the 2004 sets my mind changed. The dark gray is a (...) (22 years ago, 18-Jan-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

Here is what I think of the new colors. Firstly, from a business standpoint: 1) The color change is baffling.   Re: Nicely now. What do you think of the new colors?

If I had to pick my favorite ever LEGO color, it would have to be (the old) dark gray.
