Re: Petition against permanent color changes

I wish they won't do that! I haven't seen the new colors, but I don't care! Like many others, I have thousands of parts in the "old" colors and I wouldn't feel very good about having to change those parts because they don't fit anymore with the new (...)   Re: Petition against permanent color changes

Count me in amongst people COMPLETELY AGAINST this color replacement. This is the WORST move in Lego history, yes even worse then Galidor. Stephane Simard Owner of approx. 65000 Lego parts (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Poll regarding new colors

(...) I have to agree with this. For years, there has been a real demand for the majority of enthusiasts to bring out REAL bulk from Shop@Home. Lego brand retail has taken steps forward in bringing out Pick-a-brick at its stores, but this has only (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

Allan, don’t forget we are talking about toys here, so even if I appear to be a bit upset I’m not dead serious. I’m still really annoyed, though! LEGO isn’t essential for life, but is an essential hobby of mine and it is in danger of becoming (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New colors and other info

(...) So black is the only 'dull' colour now? That is just foolish. It's it common sense that you need dull colour to make the bright colour stand out? To me all these new colour mean major sorting headache. (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

To TLG: Please don't permanently change the light and dark grey colors. I *like* the muddiness. Who responded to this anyway in the market research? Parents of children? Kids themselves? They don't buy bulk amounts of the two colors of (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

The four of us in our very LEGO household use mass quantities of light gray and dark gray - we buy more bulk bricks and plates in these two colors than all others combined. Changing them will certainly affect us a lot! (Annoy is a better word. And I (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New Poll regarding new colors

The poll forces voters into compromises. The choices should be simpler. I am in the category "I don't want to lose the old colors and don't mind fleshing out the basic spectrum, but I am opposed to the current explosion of new colors". I don't want (...) Whatever else one might say of MEGA BLOKS, it must be admitted that they have always offered a wider range of colors than LEGO. I would (...) (...) What about the new / replacement colors is "low quality" ??? Is the ABS used in those colors of lesser quality than the "old" greys?
