Re: New colors and other info

Jake, Thank you for the information on the color change. I think the biggest feeling I have is disappointment. Things like this just serve as reminders that Lego is a corporation like any other, and prone to the same misguided, goofy decisions that (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

(...) Jeramy Spurgeon, 27 The only logic I can see in all of this is that TLG is TRYING to match the colors of MegaBloks. It has been the sruggle for MB with their inferior plastics to match LEGO in quality and color, and now LEGO takes a step down (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

(...) Its really a sick joke! I was very hopefull when there were castles on the agenda....now I know that I can wait for a bit before spending a bit of cash.... however there still a few 2003 sets that I am still interested in.... perhaps a Dragon (...)   Re: Petition against permanent color changes

(...) A "big, shiny marketing campaign" isn't going to happen here. LEGO will just start putting the new colors into sets, and hope people don't notice that the parts don't match their existing collection of pieces. Here on LUGNET where some of the (...)   Re: New colors and other info

(...) Why does every color have to be "bright & sharp"? Are you going to replace black with neon green because it's brighter? Can we see the official LEGO color palette? It must be documented somewhere. Peeron has their (URL) color palette>, (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

(...) I wonder how much confusion would arise from having two sets of such similar colours on the shelves at the same time (I imagine the transitional period is going to be complicated enough). I can see why people with alerady large amounts of grey (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: New colors and other info

Jake, you must have lost your mind if you really believe LEGO customers will be happy about ANOTHER two new colors. Especially about a color that replaces a beloved color that virtually has been around since day 1. No, I don't mean light gray. I'm (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Petition against permanent color changes

If you dare, write to them!!!! As I have seen, petition runs here on LUGNET. Many people are thrilled some way. There is also feeling of betrayal and some craving that TLG doesn't listen to AFOL's alhough it's 5% of the market. If you dare, spend 80 (...) (22 years ago, 19-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New colors and other info
