  Best of 2002

Hi all, There are some similar threads on the fbtb forums, but I thought I'd see what responses I'd get here. Now that the year is over, we can look back with some perspective on the years releases. So, two questions: 1. What was your favorite new (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  LEGO compatible bungee cord source?

Anyone know a source for the bungee cord material used in 8205 or 2129? I'm looking for 200 feet or so. -Ted (23 years ago, 3-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What a downer :-(

(...) Hmm...that's one of the sole reasons I'm a nonconformist. Some can say the blessings of our society and technology really better humanity, but is this really true?   Re: Happy birthday, Minifig!

(...) It's nice to see the minifig has made it 25 years. (Even with the recent release of the "maxifigs" JackStone and Tina and Max) It would be great to see LEGO make a minifigure pack...say about $30...that included one minifigure from each year (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Sorting

(...) Another one of these threads is going to force me to finally do a full photographic documentation of my sorting system, I think. At 250,000 pieces, my collection is fairly large, and is sorted very rigorously. I'd say 99% of the pieces are (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

Video on how the NBA figs work...

  ABS... but which one?

Hi all, Some years ago I recall seeing an article about LEGO, where there was a small image of ABS granules being fed to a moulding machine. Back then I did not care too much about it, but now it appeared interesting enough to investigate... So I (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Brick Sorting

(...) My experience is it's all about how much Lego you've got. If you've got a collection that's less than, say, 3,000 pieces, you probably don't really even need to sort. In the end I think what it boils down to is how large of a bin/box/drawer (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-03, to lugnet.general)
