Hello!

http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Jojo/sonstiges/25jahreminifig.jpg

In 1978 the LEGO tadpoles (the old minifigs without extremities) finished
off their metamorphosis, and they got arms and legs. For 25 years now,
Minifigs have been living in the Towns, Castles and various Planets of our
Legoland, the Minifigs that we know and love today, as well as back then.

So rise your glasses to propose a toast to this wonderful ...human... being.
May the next 25 years be as prosper as the past has been!

Cheers
Jojo

It's nice to see the minifig has made it 25 years.  (Even with the recent
release of the "maxifigs" JackStone and Tina and Max)

It would be great to see LEGO make a minifigure pack...say about $30...that
included one minifigure from each year from 1978 to 2003.  It's too bad LEGO
may not have many of the molds left...however, with the release of 10041
perhaps LEGO does still have many minifig molds from pre-1980.  It could be
in celebration of 25 years, like the 1200 piece spinoffs of 3033 with silver
bricks.

Always hoping,
-Kevin
