The picture of the 6463 looks like a space age hair dryer to me. Sit under the gold dome, and when you are done, you have a gold dome on your head. And with that....I'm off to bed. Julie (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)

  Mindstorms Available in NZ

I just popped into Toyworld Takapuna in my lunch break and was amazed to see a Mindstorms box on the shelf. According to the nice lady at the counter they've decided to to bring it here, and it arrived yesterday. She also showed me the 1999 NZ (...) (...) Ho hoo! That's it! That's the set that 6463 reminded me of, but I couldn't put a mental finger on it. The prices are interesting to compare, BTW -- this year's 6463 costs $3.99 for 35 pieces (11.4 cents/piece) and 889 from 20 years earlier (...) (26 years ago, 10-Feb-99, to lugnet.general)
