In lugnet.gaming.starship, Avery Christy wrote about stuff he'd like to do. Sounds fine by me. To my mind travel between two of your own sectors you can pretty much mediate yourself. If you're gonna send people to other sectors, however, you need to either co-ordinate with that SM or simply give the team a single objective (i.e. pick up the Space Artifact that is located on planet Gork). And, I am glad that you pointed something out that I forgot to: that being, I will not push SMs to do one iota of anything that they are not willing to do.
