I was thinking last week about a news service for Starship where each SM has a news reporter which reports on local in-sector events. It would be somewhat like Jain’s Guide, only exclusive to Starship. -Dan

Sounds intriguing. I like the idea, but who’s gonna run it? Who’s gonna provide the web space? Are we going to archive everything, or only make current “stories” available? Is there popular support for the idea?

All these questions and more, tonight on Starship.

Andrew

I will run it. I have time at least once per week to update and such.

I will provide the webspace, even though Jeff Shaw has said so also, but I have 300MB left on my account; surely we won’t use that much.

Maybe JHK can help me code a PHP form where we can submit a story in PHP and the page auto-updates; I know he has something like that in for his action emails.

I posted here to actualyl see if there was support. If there is, then we can do this.
