BrickFest PDX 2004 is coming soon and we need you!

Are you coming to BrickFest PDX 2004? Do you game? Do you do Pirates? I'm coordinating the gaming at BFPDX 2004. I will of course run a big pirate game, but I'd also like to have some other games happen. Some BrickWars would be great. I will also (...)   Re: Three new ships registered (Registry up to date)

(...) It wasn't really my idea per se - it kinda came out of the storyline with Dan, and it seemed only sensible that the Commonwealth might commandeer some of these type of vessels to go help the folks in Arbor. I don't know that I'll be setting up (...) (21 years ago, 28-Oct-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

Re: Three new ships registered (Registry up to date)

In lugnet.gaming.starship, Richard Parsons is pleased to register three of his vessels for inter-sector travel... Very nice, Richard! It's not very often we see non-"action" ships. I'll be interested to see how you play them (ship logs, maybe?). My (...) (21 years ago, 27-Oct-03, to lugnet.gaming.starship, FTX)

Re: Ancients Theme - armies, buildings, and cilivizations

(...) Excellent! I also like to build fairly 'big.' I find trying to scale a floorplan to actual minifig dimensions dictates a pretty large building. So, if live anywhere near New Hampshire..well, my castle can whoop your castle in a bit o' (...) (21 years ago, 26-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

Ancients Theme - armies, buildings, and cilivizations

I've been working on my Ancients Theme for past 3 years. I was a Castle fan but after witnessing the gigantic castles made by other Lego fans I decided to out do them. So to go one better, I decided to make MOCs far larger than a castle, so I moved (...) (21 years ago, 25-Oct-03, to lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

(...) It's about time. I've often been discouraged by the flagrant inaccuracies and utter disregard for thorough and comprehensive research apparent throughout Brikwars. Just a few points that I've taken particular offense to: (1) Nowhere in the (...) (21 years ago, 24-Oct-03, to lugnet.gaming.brikwars)

(...) Mike, I am appauled. I had not read the Ninja ruleset until this apology prompted me to. Upon reading, I found many other egregious errors including: "Many animals in Japan, including dragons, cranes, racoon-dogs, and foxes, had many magical (...)
