  Re: Christmas Train

(...) Nice, Adrian! I've yet to try holiday theming with trains. I tried to build a replica of that Hallmark Christmas Ornament from 1995, but that's about it. Kevin (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Christmas Train

I haven't dabbled much into MOC trains thus far, but I decided that my Christmas tree layout needed a little extra something. To that end, I created a nifty train, driven by santa, and hauling lots of presents for all the girls and boys. It's on the (...) (24 years ago, 4-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.fun.holiday) !

  Re: Those darned oraments!!!

(...) Oh, how I agree with you! They were the coolest things ever to go on the tree at my house. And then they stopped! Those Hallmark people, always taking away the really cool Lego ornaments (and then adding other, almost as cool, non-Lego (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Those darned oraments!!!

What ever happened to lego making those Christmas ornaments? They made two then stopped! I thought they were so cooooooL! the sleigh! The fireplace! Why did they ever stop??? Those were a hit with AFOL/TFOLs a bunch of years ago. I wish they made (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Halloween costume contest pics

I finally got around to developing and scanning the pictures from my Halloween Legoland experience. I entered the costume contest on the 29th of October (they had a contest every day for a couple weeks before Halloween) and competed against (...)   Re: Hannuka Menorah (was: Re: My forestmen loss)

(...) Hehe, actually not, they were intended to be the newly-wed "stars" of my website. This was before I had been ultimately sucked into castle, and before Scar existed, even. Ummm.... yeah. Sam and Sam, I called them (reflecting the irony of (...) (24 years ago, 13-Oct-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Skeleton minfigs picture for Halloween

I've put up a scaaaary* picture that you can use for your computer's background/desktop/wallpaper image to get you into the Halloween mood. It's a close up rendering of a bunch of scaaaaaaary* skeleton minifigs. You can find it here: (URL) Check it (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

Hannuka Menorah (was: Re: My forestmen loss)

(...) Hah!! This post was... almost half a year ago... proof to how lazy and/or scatter-brained I am. <grin> ... never mind that the Menorah itself was made nearly a year ago... Well, better late than never, no?... (URL) been digging through our (...) (24 years ago, 11-Oct-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.fun.holiday) !

Over-sized Easter Egg plans on Brickshelf

I can't believe anybody wanted to duplicate my insanity... But since some of you did, I posted the plans on Brickshelf. (URL) forewarned: the plan is a large JPEG. There is a half-sized version, but it doesn't show the gridlines. The rest of this (...) (25 years ago, 22-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build)

Re: LEGO Easter Egg builder goes nuts!

(...) You are sooo wrong. Please document this rare find during the excavation and reclamation process of your bricks. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general)

Re: LEGO Easter Egg builder goes nuts!

That Big Egg is great! I love it! That must have took a lot of planning. When Easter's over, you could always build a lego facehugger from "A L I E N" for the top of it. But seriously, nice work! (...) (25 years ago, 20-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general)

RE: LEGO Easter Egg builder goes nuts!

Probably...although I believe their eggs are generally of a rectangular fiberous form, with small flexible polymer sacs inside where the pieces begin their life.   Re: LEGO Easter Egg builder goes nuts!

(...) That's awesome! I really like it. You did a good job with the shape, too; getting a true egg form is difficult. So is that where Lego bricks come from? They're hatched? :) Chris (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general)

LEGO Easter Egg builder goes nuts!

If anyone needs me for the next few days, you might want to check the local funny farm. My wife may have just checked me in. The reason is that I just spent way too much time building a way-too-large easter egg. It's 32 bricks long and wide and 36 (...) (25 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general) !

  Re: LEGO Easter Egg Hunts

(...) A few years ago the Easter Bunny broke up a DUPLO safari set and hid the pieces in eggs around the house for my older son. It would be great to do it with LEGO this year, what with some of the great poly bags and small sets EB has accumulated (...)   Re: LEGO Easter Egg Hunts

(...) Last year I did an Easter LEGO hunt for my son (7 years old at the time) by hiding the entire unopenned boxes of small and medium sets (about 12 total) around Grandma & Grandpa's house. We had a good time. It was around this time that I fully (...) (25 years ago, 18-Apr-00, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  LEGO Easter Egg Hunts

Easter Egg Hunt idea: Get a 12-pack or 48-pack of plastic colored Easter Eggs and fill them will LEGO pieces. Hide 'em around the house or in the yard.
