  Re: Lavender Brick Society

Hi teddy, I have absolutely no problems with me being gay in this community. But I'd love to be a Lavender Brickette :-) Since I'm in the Netherlands, I don't have any issues with acceptance or something, but it would be nice to exchange thoughts (...) Personally I don't see the reason to start labelling people into groups such as this, I can't see why just everyone regardless of who they are, where they are from and what they look like can't just do the same as everyone else, why does (...)   Lavender Brick Society

I've been kicking an idea around for a while, and I wanted to put it out to the community: I'd like to start an organization for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered (LGBT) AFOLs. A lavender brick society, if you like. It's seemed to me that (...)   The Shrinking Canadian Dollar

(URL) OK, I knew the Canadian dollar bought less than an American dollar, but c'mon... the truck on the right is from Canada, the truck on the left isn't.   An ode to the new colours.

When I built and subsequently took apart the new X-Wing I didn't even think to actually check whether the grays and brown were old or new. I just assumed they were new, like in the other new SW sets. So into my new gray/brown tub the pieces went! At (...) (20 years ago, 8-Sep-04, to lugnet.color, lugnet.fun)

  Re: In the beginning...

Thanks for reminding me of why I like these silly plastic bricks! It brought back some fond memories that tend to get forgotten when reading some of the stuff that goes on around here. James Wilson, Dallas, TX (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.fun, lugnet.general)

  In the beginning...

In another one of my 'bored at work days' I wonder some of the strangest of things, today’s thoughts are: In one way or another we all enjoy the wonders of LEGO from the past and present (ok, maybe not so highly of present, but still, in general)...   Re: Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

(...) I snagged one of the blue flames for Neptune's Moon Lagoon (the base of it can be seen pinched under the spigot where the guy's filling a barrel of water from the reservoir tank), but I've never picked up any green ones.   Re: Cockpits, and Facets, and Ninja, oh my!

(...) It was because of THIS picture that I vowed to get myself some of those blue flames - and ironicly, while I only managed to get 2 so far, I got ahold of some trans-GREEN flames (just because they were green!). :) (20 years ago, 14-Aug-04, to lugnet.fun, FTX)

What You Should Bring to BrickFest
