  This will get someone upset...

I've noticed a few people like posting their signature files on Lugnet or a "signature" like saluation. I think degree posting a quote, or a link to your lego pages is fine. What I really see as bragging and I feel is really annoying is posting your (...) (24 years ago, 12-Jul-00, to lugnet.off-topic.debate, lugnet.admin.terms, lugnet.faq)

Re: Why do my posting privileges come un-stuck?

After I posted it, I realized lugnet.faq wasn't a place for asking obvious questions, but I couldn't figure where else it belonged. Over to there now... (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jul-00, to lugnet.faq)

Re: Why do my posting privileges come un-stuck?

(...) Me too and I wish I knew why. I think it's just bugginess in Netscape cookie handling. Or the cookie monster. It seems to happen to me to Lugnet more often than elsewhere (like on Yahoo finance) but I'm *on* Lugnet more. Just as Shiri did, I (...)   Re: Why do my posting privileges come un-stuck?

Hey Erik, Can't help you, but you might wanna XP this to .admin.general... (where it'll more likely catch Todd's attn) In fact, don't bother, I did it for you :-) -Shiri P.S. Todd - if we have .admin.nntp... should there be a .admin.web-interface? (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.admin.general)

Why do my posting privileges come un-stuck?

I have this ongoing problem with Lugnet's web interface. Despite being signed in to Lugnet, at work (uhoh) I always have to enter my name and stuff before each post. At home, occasionally I get to go through the Setup procedure again before posting. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Jul-00, to lugnet.faq)

  LA gets it's honorable mention

Hey guys, just thought you'd be interested that LA finally got it's place in the Acronym FAQ... alongside with Los Angeles, just in case omeone gets them confused. :-) (URL) Todd, can you please change the link on the FAQ page, from the V1.3 post (...) (...) She isn't real -- she's just a pseudonym for Consumer Affairs. There is some speculation that Brad Justus isn't real either. :) [ -> lugnet.faq ] (24 years ago, 17-Jun-00, to lugnet.off-topic.fun, lugnet.general, lugnet.znap, lugnet.faq)

  Re: Color chart

Hey, you could always take the color in question down to your local hardware or paint store and ask them to stick it into their computerized color matcher, that would be about as accurate as you can get using today's technology!!   Re: Color chart

(...) Not really; there's reflective components to colour as well, although I'd imagine that Lego, being made of a single type of plastic for the most part, is fairly consistent in this respect. F'r'instance, paint is sold with a 'gloss' and (...) (24 years ago, 30-May-00, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.lego.direct)
